- Well, almost. Classes begin in a minute but I am giving summer reading assessments, which is nice, quiet time. As our Latin teacher just said in the break room, “Test day is best day.”
- I like my students a lot and have a few who I actually like even more because they’re fun and motivated. So far, no true problem kids, which is nice. It’s not exactly the environment for that anyway. We have mass today after 4th (which is kinda cruddy since we typically go to lunch after 4th) and then I’ll have one last class, planning, and I can go home! It’s our last free weekend for, well, about 2 months.
- We have tentative plans to hang out with some neighbors tomorrow; we had planned to before but Ash got sick. Maybe this time it will work out!
- I really hope I can catch up on things in the house. I keep reminiscing on when I worked full time and had small children so my only true free time was after bed time (and then I was tired) and weekends. I surely must have been doing a lot then! Though I cannot recall. Maybe it was because I had a smaller house or maybe I was just more motivated back then. Who knows?
- I’m thinking about making pizzas tonight, since that’s pretty simple. I don’t plan to do any housework tonight at all. But tomorrow, I shall wake without an alarm, slowly sip my coffee, then get started on cleaning the kitchen, the bathrooms, and tidying up. It will be a miracle if I can do it all but can’t hurt to try! Have a good weekend, everyone.
I think you should do pizza OUT tonight unless you love making homemade (I actually do but I also love getting pizza out especially if I’ve worked on Friday). Speaking of work and days in school, I love to sub on testing days :). I mean there’s a need for vigilance in terms of making sure no one is cheating but you’re not tasked with much by way of teaching, lol. I’m glad to hear it’s gone well this week!!
Yes, test day is much easier! And I don’t mind making pizza at home; we have had take out recently so I figured I’d treat them to one of my own.
Congrats for making it a week!!
