- Hey all, I am totally writing this on Thursday. On Friday, I’m going to the beach with my daughter, oldest son, and his girlfriend.
- Funny thing is I didn’t finish this yesterday. I set an early alarm so I could catch up on life. I got all my grading done and started packing but then our friends said they were on the way to trivia so we left a little early.
- We did win a round, so that’s good. I had a good time and I know my daughter did with friends. Oh, remember how I told y’all how a car somehow ended up in my neighbor’s front yard? Yeah, I found out it was my friend’s son. He’s 16 and apparently took a ton of Benadryl and just… went up into the yard. Lordy. What are the odds I’d know who did that? I guess my city really is that small. Or the number of people I know is high enough that those are the odds.
- I want everyone to know I just broke my cardinal rule: I always said I wouldn’t put music on my phone. And yet, I just did. I wanted a specific album and my old gen 5 ipod is not really working well anymore so, well, there ya go. I can still use the thing when running but transferring to it isn’t good anymore. So I put an album on my phone for the drive today. Sigh. I guess old people have to catch up eventually, eh?
- Well, it’s 6:30 and someone is awake, banging around upstairs. Funny how kids will wake early if there’s something fun going on. Hopefully we’ll have decent weather most of the day, even with rain predicted every day for the next week. Have a good weekend!
