- For starters, my husband comes home today for five glorious days. Ok, just about 5 anyway. He and Isaac head out again next week but I’ll enjoy the time we have. Secondly, I did my budget and I am closer to my numbers than originally anticipated. I am still holding my breath for one of these myriad jobs to call me but hey, for now, I’m going to thank God for all I do have.
- I guess today is the longest day of the year – the most light. I will utilize this wisely. I took the kids to camp, cleaned out my husband’s car, then I got up in the attic to put some boxes away. I kept forgetting all week and once it’s past, say, 10 am even, it’s way too hot up there to work. I’m grading now, then I plan to go around and tidy up. I know how I feel when I come home to a clean house and my husband will too.
- One thing I did was rearrange the game room, as mentioned in an earlier post. I was able to get the control panel into position and make it feasible to play on. Ash will be so surprised!
- Yesterday, I let my daughter stay home from camp. I normally don’t – since I paid for it – but she had a friend spend the night and has this persistent cough that just won’t go away, even though she feels fine. So she and I had Mexican for lunch, then she wanted fudgsicles so we hopped into Walmart. There, I finally found the summer fun-sicles we always get! Publix hadn’t even brought in the huge carboard bin of them and Isaac was starting to worry; lol. So now we have some – summer has begun!
- After reading her post, I think I too will participate in this photo challenge. Once I finish with this one class, I’m off to craft that one. See you there!
