- Call me jaded or cold-hearted but this holiday just doesn’t mean anything to me. Ash and I are going to lunch and a movie later on but that’s really no different than any other day! I don’t like corporate card companies telling me today is when you should show love. Also, the grocery store is going to be insufferable with all the dudes buying last minute BS flowers and candy. UGH.
- I am not as stressed or upset as yesterday but I am still overwhelmed with work! So many papers to grade, it’s crazy. I guess I can’t complain because it means I have work and i.e. a paycheck. But still. I am in desperate need of some kind of break.
- We did have an awesome meeting last night and 5 new people! That’s a record, I think. We will need to conduct our next meeting in the brewing area if this keeps up. We typically hold it in their small party room but having now exceeded 30 people, it is way too cramped. I guess this is a good problem to have.
- This weather is bipolar lately; it was freezing, then got all grossly warm again, and this morning, it’s back down to 48 and cold in my house. We literally had the AC running earlier this week!
- So about a year and a half ago (might have even been longer) someone we know who used to run a food truck here, bought an old pharmacy in the next town over. And I mean OLD; maybe 1850s? Anyway, they wanted to start a brewpub there and this place had a whole revitalize the town square initiative going on. He asked us and one other brewer if we wanted to BE their in-house brew team. Well, we met with them a couple times in the space and all but we realized none of us had the time it would actually take. This week, randomly, he started posting photos of their building progress, which is funny since we’ve already seen it. Looks like they have not been working on it at all in this time. But every time a post comes up I have to chuckle because we were there. And life would have been a lot different had we committed!

Glad you had a good meeting! And how crazy would it have been to provide the beer to an establishment?? I hope your weather is improving. Ours is not but it’s February in Ohio- it would be odd if the weather was beautiful :).
