For as long as I can think of enough content, I’ll jam these two together. LOL.

Another favorite moment from this week was going to trivia; we haven’t been for a hot minute and we did ok; the tall guy is our rep for tie breaker. We went up twice, didn’t win either but hey, we had a good time.

1. Yay for Friday! It’s not like yesterday was hard; my students were doing the in-class workshop so it was quiet but man that day went SLOW. Once I got home though, I was relieved. I ate a nice sandwich, got to read for a bit, then we went to trivia.
2. Today though, oh, it’s a busy one. I have to finish grading some stuff but Ash wants to do firepit work, which is backbreaking yet rewarding. I don’t shy away from hard work but it’s the having to fill every moment with work that gets me. I mean, sure, I am blogging now but I also have grading pulled up.
3. At least it’s a bit cool out. Our mornings have been great but it did get warm in the afternoons again. I can’t complain too much though because I like being warm rather than cold so…
4. I’m surprised how few Fall decorations I’ve seen around the neighborhood. I think it’s because people need to feel that cool air first. Meanwhile, I have some up. I am really irritated, however, that I cannot find my spooky tree blow up. It’s in its own box and I am pretty sure I put it up in storage but I’ve looked twice now without luck. Dakota said she specifically remembers us putting it there but then, where the heck is it? I think this is a case of looking too hard. You know when you do that, you are so frustrated you overlook it?
5. OK I sort of forgot I was writing and then we spent 3 hours working on the form for the concrete. We got it built, leveled, and all that, ready to pour concrete. Went to lunch and now we’re wasting time before a movie. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
