- You know us; busy busy! We just submitted a beer to our very first competition. It’s only for German styles so that’s cool. We really like the way this festbier turned out so here’s hoping we can at least be competitive in this one. Not too many entries so, you never know.
- I teach today; a long day spent on campus. At least I got my office and all but it’s pretty gross; moldy anyway. I left it the other day feeling like there was a film in my throat and my lungs were not too happy. Zyrtec today to the rescue!
- It’s looking like my parents got a cash offer on my grandpa’s house so that might be in the bag soon. It’s been on the market maybe a month or so and he died in the Summer of ’22 so it is high time to be done with all that. Of course, now my aunt lives down there alone and she’s disabled so she has got some choices to make. She should obviously move to Pensacola, as my parents and my sister live there and we live close-ish. But she won’t. She’ll suffer for a while then, who knows?
- My daughter’s bus drove right past her and her friend today so I had to take her to school then high tail it to work. Luckily I got there with about 10 minutes to spare. Still, how does the driver just…not stop? Ugh!
- We saw Strange Darling last night and wow! I see why people are saying it’s the best movie of the year. It was pretty good. I was compelled, anyway.
- We had a weird weather shift; it’s overcast and humid and I guess we have rain coming. We haven’t had rain in a while! But the pressure is killing me; my face hurts and I am dizzy. I wonder if there is any climate where I would never have issues. Hmmm…
- I had the oddest dream last night and while details are fuzzy, it was a dire time in society, buildings were crumbling, but the dream had this feeling of safety because I was with… James Hetfield of Metallica? Why does my brain conjure up such strange things? I have no idea.
- Anyway, off to my last class, then to the store, make dinner, then take a kid to soccer. Happy Tuesday!

I have severe allergies and my doc said that if you move somewhere else, say Arizona . . .you might not have allergies for a while . . .but you will develop new ones in the new location! Isn’t that crazy?
I believe it. They always said people moved here without them then somehow end up with them. If you’re predisposed, then it’ll happen!
German beers are some of my favorites. I do like dark beer.
Just a thought. Maybe you’ve got a low grade sinus infection? That’s an easy check if there’s time for a doctor’s visit. Get well soon.
