OK, I already did my Friday Five post but I figure, why not do this? It’s a lot more positive, as my Friday 5 tends to run the gamut of random thoughts and complaints.

I have no idea how many faves we are supposed to pinpoint so I’ll just go with it.

ONE:

I love that my middle randomly decided he had a hankering for a Costco hot dog. It worked out because I needed beer, tissues, and paper plates so I got them from camp Wednesday and we headed over. I literally fed them both for $9.11!

TWO:

It’s hat day at camp! Dakota was going to wear the tiny hat we got in Helen but she forgot and chose this one. And as always, Isaac chose something silly.

THREE:

No picture to share but on Wednesday, I met my oldest for lunch at 4 Rivers. It was actually really nice! We didn’t sit and talk for a long time or anything but he went to work that night and when he got home, I was chatting with him briefly in the kitchen and he gave me a big hug and said ‘I love you, mom.’ Every now and then, this almost-17-year old can be awesome!

Four:

On Sunday, our friends passed along this silly hat to us, because it didn’t fit them. Ash looks ridiculous in it but I love novelty items like this.
