- Two days in a row of having to be in at 6:30 is not too fun. I was EXHAUSTED yesterday after the early early morning and then a long day at work. I literally worked 6:30-6:30. But that wasn’t the worst; could have been later. When I got home, we watched a couple Golden Girls episodes with our daughter then this silly Nick Cage movie but it was nice to just relax. Four more days…
- I’m sure it is because I am pre-menopausal but I am very emotional lately. And as you may know, as an Aries, we don’t do emotions. We have one weak moment then go back to unfeeling for months at a time. But it’s kind of irritating.
- As a side effect of this hormonal change, I am also suddenly getting nosebleeds, which I have never had before in my life. It’s truly weird and when they happen, I’m always so taken aback. Like, what the heck?
- I applied to some other online teaching jobs, just in case SNHU is really falling apart. Did I tell you about Friday? It was at that point I knew they didn’t have a class for me this next term. I get home and there’s a random box on the island. I open it and it’s a Stanley-like travel mug with SNHU on it. Gee, rub it in, huh? THEN, yesterday I got this certificate for “Outstanding educator” and I’m like, yeah, thanks, I know. BUT then I got an email saying it was sent in error. They’re just playing around with my emotions at this point. But, if this semester was just a fluke, then in May I can go back to being eligible for two sections and that would REALLY turn my life back around.
- I can’t help but repeat to myself that God never throws anything at you that you can’t handle. Maybe I just needed a test. Like my life isn’t already hard, lol. But it does bring you back to reality; be aware of what’s going on so you don’t slip.
- Um, I know it’s happening to a lot of people but this Facebook/Instagram outage is BS. I was following my son’s field trip in DC on insta and now I can’t log back in!
- OK, Session begins now. Think happy thought about finishing before midnight!
