• When you read this, I’ll be at the science center with Elliot; it’s a field trip!
• They’ll supposedly be doing 2 hours worth of science experiments (Can a 4 year old pay attention for that long??) Then they’ll watch an hour long movie about planets. I’ll report back on how THAT all goes down.
• It’s also dreary as all get-out. No one wants to go out in this.
• I’ve been really bad about writing lately so it is my goal to sit down and actually work on my WIP this week. At some point. Between kids and laundry and running and ALL that.
• Again, I’ll report back on my findings. We’ll see.
• I saw an inspirational thing online the other day that said “Someone busier than you is running right now.” I might print it and put it in my office.
• My husband, meanwhile, cut out an ad from the latest Runner’s World that says, “I run for ice cream.” Damn straight.
• Do you ever feel like there’s just so MUCH going on in your life that you can’t ever quite get on top of things? I don’t even think we have all that much planned but this is my life these days; always just a wee bit behind.
• However, I must say that as far as appearances go, it seems like I’ve got it all together.
• That counts for something, eh?
• I’m not really feeling Fall yet, guys. And I usually love this season. I’m just not compelled by it yet. I don’t feel like decorating and I’m not even excited about the pumpkin patch. I think once both boys have their pumpkin patch picture outfits, I’ll be jonesing to go.
• And when my Swap-o-ween package arrives, I bet that will help. My box goes out today!
• Gee, this hasn’t been all that random, has it?
• Yesterday I saw a girl wearing a yellow armband and I thought maybe she was, you know, supporting something but it turns out that she plays a game that is campus=wide: Humans Vs. Zombies. And people run around with Nerf guns and shoot each other. Wow.
