Friday Confessional – End of a Very Long Week edition

PhotobucketI confess… I am completely paranoid about this creeper they’re looking for around our area, like I mentioned. I actually *don’t* think he’s going to just jump out at me at 5 PM on a heavily traveled road but who knows? At least my friends and I have come up with a funny nickname for him: The Bushwhacker. ::Snicker::

I confess… One day of staying home with Isaac (he was sick but acting normal) was enough to remind me how much I love working. I was just bored!

I confess…that I’m worried that I might go a little overboard this weekend with spending because I finally have money. My sister called my mall’s Yankee Candle and put me on the Friends and Family list for this weekend. I get her discount and more and OMG, Halloween decorations, here I come!

I confess… though I haven’t read a paranormal romance in a while, I bought some sticky notes at Target that say… “I love vampires”. Heh heh, for shame!

I confess… my lawn REALLY needs to be mowed. After Tropical Storm Lee, there was a crapload of debris left behind.

I confess… I think I am getting to be *that* old person. For example, I ordered something from Barnes and Noble on August 25th. Today is, what, the 9th? and I still haven’t gotten it. That’s a load of crap! I am so sad that Borders went under. The reason I’ve become old is that I feel like I need to write them a letter explaining my dismay.

I confess… I am in a bad mood this morning already. Left a little late, DD got my order wrong, and I dropped some kind of cheesy oil from my wrap right on my white shirt. Le sigh.

Ok, that’s what I’m ‘fessin’. You?

  1. Hehehe…I love the “Bushwhacker” name! I just finished reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer and I loved it. I’m not usually into the whole sci fi/paranormal romance books but this one was really good!! Have a great weekend!

  2. I haven’t read a paranormal romance in a while either, but I’m waiting for the next Lindsay Sands book to come out.
I would love to have a Yankee Candle Store out here. The best I can do however is the local stores that sell Yankee Candles. I got to go to the one in Massachusetts once and it was awesome.

  3. Borders went UNDER? I didn’t know that!

A paranormal romance sounds interesting. I’ve never heard of it. That is probably because I get stuck reading the same types of books. I’m so boring sometimes.

    Mmmm….Yankee Candles!!!! GO CRAZY GIRL!

  4. I’m a total vampire fan, so those sticky notes are okay in my books! haha!
And I tease my mom & aunt all the time, in the past few months I’ve heard them several times talking about “writing letters to make complaints” to companies, etc. I told them, “Wow, it’s official, you guys are old ladies.” Too funny! haha!!

Enjoy your weekend and have fun at Yankee Candle!!!!

  5. I just realized the other day that there is a Yankee Candle store right down the road from me. That can be very bad for our bank account!

Amazon! I love Amazon. Fast, quick and cheap!

  6. I was really sad about Borders too. It was the only bookstore within an hour drive down where I live. I honestly order from Amazon most of the time, but it was nice when there was a new book that I just HAD to have. I miss them. Although I did love the 80% off sale. 🙂
