You know that episode of Friends where Chandler is moving out of his apartment with Joey and in with Monica so he’s trying to give Joey a big sum of money because he feels guilty about it? He has all these tactics for losing it to Joey in a game or other ways of giving it without it seeming like charity. I feel that way about playing Ash in Fantasy Football this week.

He has a really good team, to be honest, but every week, he plays against a team whose players are having a dream match-up. For example, I have Drew Brees of the undefeated New Orleans Saints. This week, they play the St. Louis Rams, who are arguably the worst team in the league right now. And this happens to him every single week! I know it’s only a game but it can be rather depressing, especially if you have players like Tom Brady and Eagles defense. I mean, these are perennially high scorers.

I have considered “forgetting” to fix my team and leaving bye week players in but he’d know what I was doing. I thought about saying I wanted to try something different and put in some bench guys to see if they could perform better. But he’d know. I don’t want to just “give” him a win but I kind of do. I am first in the league and he could really use it. I’m torn!
