I guess this is Spring; it has been raining for quite a while now (going on DAYS) and although everything here is GREEN! like nobody’s business, I am sick of always being wet and the dark skies and the inability to go outside with Elliot and/or take pictures of him. If my grandparents read my blog, this is where I would apologize for the lack of new photos on my Flickr site. Sorry you guys. Mother Nature hasn’t exactly been cooperative, that bitch.
I know, like a lot of things like this, that I should take advantage of being inside-bound. I could write! Or clean! Or do any number of inside things and feel accomplished. Though, do you realize how frustrating it is to be office-bound? On any given day, I like to take at least one walk around the building. I also go out and talk to the girls who run the lemonade stand. Alas, these are not options. So in between grading papers and all the other duties I have, I am finding new and exciting time-sinks to divert my attentions. This stems from something I feel has been happening to me lately: I am bored with internet. Rather, I am bored with my list of blogs. Not YOU guys of course. I read a lot of blogs in which the writer does not reciprocate. And I feel like they have all been super busy or you know, caught up in life so things are boring. The status quo has changed. So I seek new things:
- Hilarious spots on Youtube. Why had I not seen these before? Where have these been all my life??
- NPR song of the day. I can never find anything new AND good so I try to hit up this site often and see what they have to offer. I can never actually catch this show on the radio, though.
- Looking for anything having to do with comics? This place has most everything and loads of good info and pictures.
- Bottle border for your garden.
And that’s it because the internet is BORING! So I turn to you dear readers; please entertain me. What have you been browsing lately? Buying anything? What’s worth looking at???
My garage was totally flooded by the deluge.
Sorry to hear that – this place floods like no one’s business. Don’t drive on Franklin, that’s for sure!
