Yeah, I watched the debate but it wasn’t like I said, “Oh hey, turn on the TV because the debate’s gonna start.”, all slobbery or anything. I was flipping through the channels and I got sick of SportsCenter. I don’t know; no one seems ready but Palin is such an embarrassment to women everywhere. I’m not one to believe that Obama is God’s gift to America but he certainly outweighs the competition.
But let’s not talk of such things; it is Friday! It is gorgeous out! I leave in 5 days! And I am absolutely NOT enjoying The Unbearable Lightness of Being. It’s not poor writing and it’s semi-interesting but the subject matter is so… depressing. Like I mentioned before, I get way too emotionally attached. Also? He explains everything that I would like to be figuring out for myself. So I am constantly saying, “yeah, I already noticed that. Well, duh, obvious…” and things like that. So I am glad I went home for lunch and got my other book, for it is not so downtrodden.
This post is pretty much useless so let me link you to some far more entertaining posts.

Ok, how about just one that I really could identify with: Finding motivation to work out. That’s so totally me, except I have only one kid and feel exhausted. Ugh.
Anyway, hope everyone has a good weekend.
if you think the book The Unbearable Lightness of Being is depressing, you should try watching the movie. it’s long and not even daniel day lewis could make it any less depressing.
Seriously – this will bring you to new levels of sadness. I don’t think I will finish it before the book club meeting on Tuesday.
The winking just about drove me out of my mind.
