x365 posts are easier when I keep up

God; doing 8-10 of those things at a time is exhausting, pure and simple. I’m sticking to it but I’m losing interest because I’m running out of people to talk about. I might have to go second and third tiers: people who I remember but didn’t touch me in some special way. Maybe they’re just bumping around in my subconscious for some other reason.

Anyway, I just took a walk to the library to grab a coffee. The mornings have been cooler lately so it was nice to get out and enjoy the weather. Actually, I don’t think this summer was nearly as hot as last. In fact, I read an article about a week or so ago that said this winter is projected to be colder than usual. I look forward to that. I feel like it’s easier to bundle up than dress down. Especially in the boy’s case. Jackets and pants are easy. And if he’s good, we can even wear hats/beanies. He liked them as a baby. Socks though, not so much. But this year, we’ll be in shoes so he won’t even be able to get at the socks.

That reminds me: I want to buy him so much stuff on clearance at Old Navy. Have I the funds? No sir. Not at all. It has been a crunch the last week due to unexpected doctor fees, every type of anti-itch medication known to man, and of course, a birthday party wherein we bought a LOT of food/beer. But that’s what happens in life: unexpected things pop up and you have to handle it. You know, much like the afternoon right before Elliot’s birthday when Ash found Todd under the deck chomping away at a rotting rat carcass. Completly unlike him but nevertheless, he had to be taken to the vet Saturday morning and vaccinated. Plus, he has to get a follow-up booster in two weeks.

**SIGH**

On today agenda: organize, clean out, and begin new projects only after others have been laid to rest. Don’t overdo it. Eat at home. Don’t scratch. Be calm.

And you?
