The Boy is down for his morning nap and more than anything, I should be sweeping floors. In fact, it was my plan to do it last night but I popped in the first disc of Freaks and Geeks, and before I knew it, midnight had rolled around. In and of itself, that’s an amazing feat: that I stayed awake – while watching the TV mind you – until 12 AM. Ash got in around 12:20 and I immediately fell asleep. There’s something about having other people in the house – that comfort – that lulls me right to sleep.

So, been thinking about Blogher, as mentioned. Maybe next year I will go. Depending. I may be pregnant at that point (if plans go accordingly). But even then, that might not be something to hold me back. It might be a good way to get myself out there and meet people, promote my blog. Even though I didn’t start a blog to make friends or promote my writing. It sometimes becomes that though, out of coincidence. And I have made a lot of cool internet friends through this medium. Besides, I could use an entire conference discussing blogging; we could all stand to improve, right?

So anyway, I don’t have a single thing on my agenda today. Well, besides accompanying Ash to the music store and then doing some exciting grocery shopping. I wish I felt like going to the Park Avenue Farmer’s Market or the park or something. But really, I should stay home and clean. Oh, and mow my lawn. Summer + waiting two weeks = some long-ass grass!
