The one in my thesis was pretty cool; basically a better version of myself

the protagonist in my thesis was an ass of a 16 year old boy

Okay, this writing meme is clearly geared toward fiction writers.

his mom was already dead (not in a sixth sense kind of way)

pretty often. or I am just lazy

Not anymore.

type. when I write, my hand falls asleep

unfortunately, yes

I go back and read them but never work on it

No, but I have tried.

i like endings where you leave the book going, “huh”. not huh like huh? but just huh

no, and I chastise my students for that

yes but I can’t listen to it while writing
