I am singing the praises of my dear husband this morning, as he got up to do the 3 AM feeding and I? Got to sleep four straight, uninterrupted hours. It was amazing, splendid, absolutely blissful. I don’t know how single parents do it, I tell you.
Getting a lot of work done today and actually remembering what all I need to do. Ever have those days where you know there’s things to do but what they are, you just don’t know. Your brain is blocked and it’s nearly impossible to catch up. I loathe those days.

Last night, Elliot was bashing away at his new Leap Frog Spin and Sing and when it stopped on X, like, 80 times, I swear that kid said “Ex!” Ash and I looked at each other, “Did he just say a letter?” Then he said it again and of course, once we had the video camera out he was done saying letters and had gone back to his incoherent babbling. A lot of people may say it was purely accident but that was like no other sound he’d ever made and after hearing the lady’s voice says it over and over, I swear he understood. My little genius; hurry, call Mensa!
In other news, congrats to LSU, BCS champs. Although, I must also congratulate our friend, Eppes, who is enjoying lunch on my husband today as a result of a bet. I really thought OSU could do it this year but I guess not.
It’s 11 already and I’m past my pumping cut-off. I’ve got to get more with it.
