Why is it that I can never seem to complete the items on my to-do list? What have I been doing with all my time? Oh, I don’t know… maybe feeding a hungry baby, playing the “please stop crying” game, sleeping. You know, the basics. I need to: write my Christmas cards, calculate final grades for my online class, put away gifts from this weekend, blow the leaves out of the yard, update Elliot’s baby book, and I’d like to get some recreational reading squeezed in there but honestly, I don’t see that happening.
For now, I am taking each day of this Holiday season just as it comes. I refuse to be stressed out any longer about family and meals and gifts. It’s just too trying.
Maybe soon it will all end.
Good luck with getting everything done! I have no idea when I’m going to find time to shop for Christmas presents when I get home. Times like these, I really envy my brothers. They are both amazing artists and can just make they’re own presents. I think the best I could come up with is a turkey…with a strong resemblance to a hand. Anyhoo, Elliot’s looking bigger and even more adorable. Hope you all enjoy his first Christmas 🙂
