Of zzzZZZzzz’s and Wintereerer things

52°F

Really? 52? Wow; I guess that means it’s officially November. Tallahassee has about five months where the cold blows through. December and January can be pretty darn cold; if you park your car outside, you will no doubt have an annoying layer of ice on the windshield. When I had my old Infinity, the ice wasn’t the problem so much as the fact that the driver’s side window was stuck down about one inch, which meant that inside the car was an icebox and since my office is only about 2 miles from the house, it only just started to warm up as I was pulling in to park. I am grateful, now, for a new car with awesome heat and non-broken windows.

I actually ::shock:: slept last night. Elliot went down peacefully around 1 after a 12:15 feeding, which came after an hour nap I took. Then he woke up around 3:30 – which is about right – and then again at 6:30. I went back to sleep until 9 and now I magically feel rested for once. And you know, I really need my energy to, um, watch TV all weekend? Yeah, that’s pretty much what we do these days. With the exception of errands to Publix and Target, we don’t just up and go places anymore.

But really, what DO married couples with young kids do on weekends?  If the kids are babies, they are at least easily transportable but could melt down at any moment. Older and they actually have a preference as to what the outing involves. What is everyone doing this weekend?
