Sorry–I’ve had a visitor over the weekend who just left this morning, so I’ve been light on the blogging.
You like the great outdoors, right? You ever heard of Paines Prairie State Park? You should check it out. They have lots of hiking, biking, and wild horses and bison. 10 miles south of Gainesville.
The Payne’s Prairie rest area on Interstate-75 southbound is my second favorite in Florida. There is a nice overlook built so you can see the prairie. At night it is particularly nice, especially when there is fog.
