I love Sundays of 3-day weekends. In fact, those – and vacations – are the only Sundays I do enjoy. I like sitting here and knowing that tomorrow,  I don’t have to go into work, or wake up early, or do.. anything I don’t want to.

The weekend has been productive. We trimmed the driveway with out new weed wacker, I raked the entire front yard  (ugh) and we pulled up these two railroad ties in the backyard that we recently discovered were housing a colony of carpenter ants. Fun fun. That’s the thing about homeownership: there’s always a project to do.

We went out for football last night and drank a lot of beer, ate a lot of food; spent today getting back to normal. I’m 3/4 on my teams winning – here’s hoping for the fourth.
