I just remembered that my magnet-making materials should arrive today! This makes me very excited. I ordered the 1 inch and 3/4 inch ones: cabochons. My tentative plan is this: each Friday at the beggining of the month, the “art park” where the rock gym is has this thing they call “First Friday”, which is basically an open house for all the art studios there to show off and sell their wares. A friend of mine has studio space there and has let a few other friends sell books of their poetry. Well, my plan is to make a ton of magnets and get out there to sell them. The problem lies in figuring out how to profit. I think I might aim for breaking even at first, just in case I am a total flop. But after that, profit is fair game.

So come tonight (or this weekend) I will be a lean, mean magnet making machine.
