Craptacular Thursday

Ok ok settle down everyone, I’m here. I made it to work… finally. It was tough. It was a coalensence of a lot of crap this morning to make me feel completely burned out. I woke up feeling tired but I got ready anyway. Then, as I got in my car and turned it on, something told me to just get out and go back to bed. So I did. And I made it into work by 11. I feel bad about that – I do not like to be that sort of employee. But I know my boss is ok with it and they are more concerned than anything. Besides, I checked my work email right before I went back to bed at about 7:30 and when I got into the office, I had not receieved any more.

Yesterday was the busiest I have been in a long time. Monday was a pretty busy day but at least I got some time at home before sleeping. Yesterday, I got into work by 7:15 am, left my class at 6:30 pm, laid on the couch for about 10 minutes before we went back out to our friend’s birthday dinner, then we went to see Stranger Than FIction and then I got home and went to bed. (P.S. – Jordan, what was wrong with the end to that movie?) So when I got up this morning, I just couldn’t do it. Normally, I’m not that weak but it just felt wrong to get up. I dreaded the thought of sitting here all morning, feeling the way I felt. And if I didn’t feel like I should go to the last class of French, I would have stayed home all day.

So now, I am picking away at this huge “white salad”: lettuce, feta, sprouts, cucumbers, turkey and chunks of cheddar with tomatoes on the side. Plus this place gives you a bagel with it too. Gonna be stuffed and feel like a nap soon.  But it’s too yummy to stop eating and just chuck it.

So yeah, there’s really nothing exciting to write about; it’s almost noon and I have about 3 hours until French and then I am going to -hopefully – go home and clean the house.

  1. Sleep will cure that. Actually, a long bike ride or some other strenuous exercise will knock that out of you as well. Then again, sleep is the more relaxing option. Thankfully, it’s almost the weekend.

  2. Yes, I can’t wait. After the test, we’re doing major Christmas shopping and then having a party that night. I might bike this evening if I can get the house cleaned up.
