Some poetry, if you please

(feedback welcome)

I hold an acre of memories

only a bushel of knowledge

I speak from the valleys

not the peaks of the mountains

I carry my day in wooden buckets

measure my time in tin cans

Moments occur by the tick of egg timers

lifetimes pass like the dark nighttime river

inconspicuously flowing to some destination

further, further along, steady and immeasurable

  1. Ok, so I wasn’t going to comment b/c I really didn’t have a firm idea on what you were talking about but I think I got it now!

With all the nature stuff, you’ve got to be talking about the connection of time and the planet right?

Even if I’m wrong, which is cool too, I do love the lines

    – I hold an acre of memories/only a bushel of knowledge

    and

    – inconspicuously flowing to some destination!

    Nicely done!
