That’s a lovely image. I wish it were me too. That idea is what I’ve strived for, what I dream of. A window seat with a view of forests and golden hills, in an older house — add a few beagles and cats and you have a recipe for heaven.

There’s a lady with 3 bostons in our neighborhood. For some reason, any “herd” of dogs makes me laugh. And she had them all on retractable leashes and they all wanted to go in different directions. I am sure she was miffed, but I thought it was pretty funny
Ha ha yeah, when we added 2 more, I put Todd’s retractable away and traded it in for a double leash to which he is attached to Zoey. Iggy gets his own because he had issues walking on a leash at first. Basically, they pull me down the road but at least they stay about 5 feet from me.
