I had a fairly productive weekend. On Saturday, I did a lot of little things around the house and we didn’t do much of anything besdies rest. This morning, I took the dogs for a run and met some new neighbours. They just move din around the corner and are from Colorado. I’d say they aren’t but two, three years older than us so they are a potential for new friends, I think. Of course we went to watch football at Pockets, where you leave smelling like an ashtray but get to see all games on good TVs. I think I successfully – finally – got the pee smell out of Ash’s car. If I didn’t mention it, his brother’s dog peed on the backseat and it has been the bane of my existence since. I tried a couple things before this final method, which was a longer process. I don’t know why it vexed me so; perhaps because I knew – knew! – I could get it out. I’m good at cleaning, I really am.

I’m not dreading Monday as usual because I have two full hours of student conferenes both Monday and Wendesday, as opposed to class. That will at least keep me busy for the majority of the day – between that and actual work. I like to stay busy. If I get bored I get frustrated.

I have a one year replacement plan on my Nano. It still works fine but I know, having worked there, that Comp won’t check it. So come the end of October, I am getting one of the new, redesigned Nanos. Besides, Todd chewed on the screen so it will be nice to have an untouched one.
