I like the puppy picture. I wish I was napping.
Yes, for once, he was peaceful. He’s only 8 months old and he drove my dogs crazy with his exuberance for play!
Oh. Wow. 8 months? That’s a fun age for puppies. Our younger beagle, Pip, was going through his “eating the couch” stage. Fun times. Really.
My pups are one year and two months and two years and four months, respectively, and I am very glad they are past the “I will pee on this here capret” phase and the “Let’s chew on the corners of this nice new coffee table” phase.
Oh, new furniture is perfect for those puppy teeth!
We adopted Puck when he was two so thankfully he only chewed up my glasses, credit cards, wooden cooking spoons, and a random tube of tube of toothpaste. He still really likes toothpaste.
Pip was 4 months old when we adopted him and he helped us get rid of the furniture we didn’t really like. They needed to be replaced, but we didn’t get our nice couches till we got married. Before that I covered the cushions with blankets. People probably thought I was going for that “homey” feeling, when I was just trying to mask the holes and tears and gashes from the cute puppy.
I know why puppies are cute now – so you don’t kill them when they run out of your bedroom wearing your bra on your head…yeah…it’s true. I can’t make that kind of stuff up.
