Friday Confessional – Out of Sorts edition

I confess… I have the same weird “illness” that Ash had about a week ago: sore throat and tired but that’s IT. What kind of sickness is THAT??

I confess… I am back to being stressed about money. After paying bills, I have about 320 dollars to last a week and a half, which sounds like a lot actually but take into account groceries and the fact that for two days, Ash and I will be at the beach. Though, granted, we’ll be lounging most of that time, not shopping. (And he’s paying for food; I’m paying for the hotel.) I am sure it’ll be ok. Things always work out.

I confess… I am excited for Elliot to spend about four-five days with my grandparents. After we leave Orlando, he’ll stay with them and they’ll bring him back at the end of the next week. We’ve been doing that since the summer right before his 3rd birthday. Though, this is probably the last year they can take just Ell; next year, Isaac will want to join in.

I confess… Elliot’s birthday is quickly approaching and I cannot figure out which weekend to have it or how it’s all going to work. But as a parent, you know you have to pull through; he’s SO excited about it! The big 5!

I confess… my grandmother is NOT doing well. I hate to prepare for the worst but I feel like I should.

I confess... I might tear my hair out: the office next to mine is under construction and imagine a saw that can cut through steel beams; that’s what it sounds like Right. Outside. My. Door.

Ok, that’s all I got today; more work to be done and for some reason, my heart just started pounding like mad; ugh!

Hope you fell better by the time you go on your minivacation.
How fun for Elliot! Grandma and Grandpa time is awesome. And next year you guys get the added bonus of no kids for a while.

  3. I’m sorry about your grandmother. I lost mine some years ago, and still miss her so much. That’s a special relationship.

Sounds like you have a lot going on! I hope you have a peaceful weekend.

  4. I hope that you get to feeling better soon! I hate being sick.
